My photography is natural. By observing the behaviour of my subjects I capture the instants that flit past. I utilise natural surroundings and lighting to inject special elements into my images. My photographs leave you with an experience and feeling of the moments they capture.

{Sneak Peak} Miss Grace
On the day of this shoot it was about 10 degrees and raining out, so for the first part of the shoot we took photos inside, then we took advantage of a break in the rain, and went out in the garden to take some shots in the sun...

{Sneak Peak} A Wet, Wintry Wedding...
...The Bride, Groom & Grooms Men.
I had the opportunity to again work with Kevin Smith on a wedding, though this one didn't really go to plan due to the weather, it was to be an afternoon outdoor ceremony, but by lunchtime it rained and continued that way for the rest of the day.
So the ceremony was held in a lovely small room at the venue, just enough room for all the guests to gather around and Kevin to get in position to photograph not room for two photographers that's for sure.
The after shots were to be taken on a beach, but they ended up being taken else where.
We also took some impromptu shots in a private area in a local bar. And I was able to get into the action and take a few candid shots as they relaxed before they headed back for the reception.

ANZAC Day 2009
I was asked if I was interested in doing photos of the 12/40 Battalion while they marched in the Anzac Day Parade through the streets of Hobart.
I made no promises as the weather for that day wasn't looking good at all.
Come Saturday morning I poked my head outside and saw a few patches of Blue so I did think it was clearing. After walking for half an hour in the pouring rain to get to the Barracks I had doubted my choice. But by mid afternoon, I was home and dry and downloading the photos and even though it was wet, raining and overcast I was very happy with what images I had taken.
